Misamis Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano is set to deliver his “100 Days In Office” report on Tuesday morning, highlighting the achievements of his administration during the said period, at the Lugod Gym in Gingoog City beginning at 9 a.m.
Some 800 to 1,000 are expected to attend, mostly government officials from the barangays, municipalities and the province, with some sectoral leaders.
MISAMIS Oriental Governor Yevgeny Vincente “Bambi” Emano is keen on attaining and achieving a just and lasting peace in the province to achieve his flagship project.
“We will pursue, with the help of our provincial director (PD) and the army, to localize peace initiatives with all sectors. I will convene the ulamas, priests, pastors, the lumads, and all churches of different denominations in the province to help bring about a just and lasting peace.”
THE province of Misamis Oriental received the Regional Green Banner Award (GBA) from the Regional Nutrition Council during the awarding ceremony on Friday.
The same award was also given to Valencia City in Bukidnon for the city level and Maramag also in Bukidnon for the municipal level.
The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC)of Misamis Oriental, chaired by Vice Governor Norris Babiera, convened today and after the presentation of PAGASA and the ensuing discussions, the Municipal Mayors will be convening their respective MDRRMC's either today or tomorrow morning, in response to the call for a pro-active approach to managing Typhoon Bopha/Pablo. It was agreed that the province will be placed on Blue Alert as soon as possible to facilitate the mobilization of resources.
