FILIPINA beauty pageant titlists from different parts of the world are happy to see another Filipina brought home pride and honor to the Philippines. This time from Misamis Oriental’s Miss Bb. Pilipinas – Intercontinental 2021 Cinderella Faye Obeñita who was recently crowned Miss Intercontinental 2021 in Sunrise Diamond Beach Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.

Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman, the first Filipina to reign the Miss Intercontinental title in 2018, posted on Instagram, “Congratulations Cindy Obeñita,” with a photo of Cindy, Governor Bambi Emano’s Senior Tourism Operations Officer for the Provincial Tourism Office in Misamis Oriental.

Cindy’s Binibini Sisters, Bb. Pilipinas-International 2021 Hannah Arnold and Binibining Pilipinas-Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio, who watched the coronation night live were so excited to see another Filipina beauty and brain to be crowned, like they expected.

“Congratulations @cindyobenita our Miss Intercontinental 2021,” Hannah Arnold also posted on Instagram.

Maureen Montagne, the Philippines’ representative to the Miss Globe 2021 in Albania, said the 25-year-old lady deserves the crown.

“The most deserving winner!!! So proud of you @cindyobenita. Staying up late was worth it. Our new @missintercontinentalofficial is none other than Miss Philippines!!! Our very own Cinderella,” Arnold wrote on Instagram.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach posted on Facebook her congratulatory message to MisOr’s pride, and vowed to support the lady’s journey to other international pageantries.

“I knew it!!!! Congratulations, Cindy! Ni laban ang Mis.Or and Pilipinas,” a netizen posted as Cindy Obenita grabs most attention on social media until today.

The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. is excited to welcome home Cindy anytime soon.

“Mrs. Stella Marquez Araneta and BPCI proudly congratulate Cinderella Obeñita for bringing home the second Miss Intercontinental crown to the Philippines. From a Binibini who won the hearts of many Filipino fans, she impressed the whole world with her grace and charm throughout her pageant performance in Egypt,” a statement from the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. was quoted.

Generally, as shown on live social media coverage, Cindy showed off consistency in her performances during the finals night including the question and answer portion.

Cindy, as communications graduate of Liceo University in Cagayan de Oro who loves hosting, modelling and reading books, she’s familiar with the current events and social issues, which she applied in her journeys in local, national  and international pageantries.
