CAPITOL HOSTS RCDC & CDA REGION X OPENING OF COOPERATIVE MONTH CELEBRATION
The Regional Cooperative Development Council (RCDC) successfully opens the 2017 Cooperative Month Celebration at the Capitol Grounds. Lead by Cooperative Development Authority Regional chairman Orlando Ravanera, different cooperatives take part in the event. Gov. Bambi Emano is represented by Board Member Wayne Militante and his message is centered on the development of cooperatives with big support from the provincial government. These includes financial and technical assistance for duck-raising, hog-raising, Cacao plantation, Silk Industry, and others. The implementation of Capitol’s Cooperative Assistance Program is handled by the Provincial Cooperative Development Office headed by Mr. Alberto “Boboy” Acain.
This year’s theme is:
“COOPERATIVES:Empowering the Poor and the Vulnerable Towards Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development.”
