EMANO CONTINUES TO UPGRADE MISOR’S 8 PUBLIC HOSPITALS BY: REJIANN AMMOR R. MAYGAYPosted: March 3, 2022
GOVERNOR Bambi Emano steps down from office in June 30, 2022. But his legacy remains in Misamis Oriental even as he continues to upgrade the services and medical equipment of the Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospitals (MOPH) in Magsaysay, Gingoog City, Talisayan, Balingasag, Claveria, Alubijid, Initao and Manticao.
“If there were things that (we) had challenges before was the eight Provincial Hospitals a couple of years back. Now,
the eight Provincial Hospitals is not only an asset to the Provincial Government, but you were able to deliver the basic health services to our constituents in the Province,” Governor Emano addressing the medical staff of the MOPH in an occasion in the Capitol as he acknowledged and commended the Chiefs of Hospitals for their effort in healing the worsened status of the state-run sickbays and answering the needs of the Misamisnons who are completely satisfied of their health services.
“Kalouy sa Diyos walo atong balay tambalanan, kalouy sa Diyos sukad sa akong pagpungko na-revived nato atong balay tambalanan lakip kagamitan ug sa staffing,”
Governor Emano added.
To recall, in his State of the Province Address (SOPA) dubbed: “Taho Namo sa Katawhan”,
Governor Emano also recognized the medical practitioners and hospital staff for their dedication to aid the needy without selecting who to serve as the Governor demanded.
For the last nine years, the eight public hospitals are installed with state-of-the-art facilities such as emergency complex; increasing the number of bed capacities; and sophisticated medical equipment such as portable x-ray machines, ambulances and multi-purpose vehicles especially in responding to COVID-19.
