MISAMIS Oriental’s Cinderella, the reigning Miss Intercontinental 2021 Cindy Obenita is home along with pride and honor she brought to the people of the province as the first-ever international pageant titlist.

Governor Bambi Emano prepared exuberant homecoming for the 25-year-old Senior Tourism Operations Officer of the Provincial Tourism Office in Misamis Oriental on Monday, November 15, 2021. The Governor even ordered Capitol department offices to welcome their lady co-worker for her office-hopping and photo opportunities.

The not-so-fond-of-dancing Emano has danced to Tiktok music of happiness and excitement while saying words of congratulations to the sweet as sugar and the second Filipina to become the Miss Intercontinental title holder.

Governor Emano says Cindy is as pretty as the sun setting in the sky like the cartoon and movie character, Cinderella, with her homecoming was like a fairy tale.

Cindy belonged to the wildcard in Bb. Pilipinas, getting least attention from pageant organization and the fans. But MisOr’s Cinderella proved them wrong after being crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021, after which vested 70 other brilliant girls from all over the world as the reigning Miss Intercontinental 2021.

Before her scheduled press meeting on November 15, Cinderella Cindy had her motorcade starting from disembarking the plane going out of the Laguindingan airport to the Provincial Capitol to face the members of the press and later met her number one supporter, Governor Emano, who hosted a homecoming dinner in a hotel in Opol, Misamis Oriental.
