Provincial Planning and Development Office
The Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO) implemented the initiatives coordinated and funded by the UN-World Food Programme in the Provincial Government and in the selected municipalities of the Province of programs/projects related to disaster risk and disaster preparedness, climate change adaptation livelihood and nutrition concerns. The PPDO also collected and consolidated various plans and reports, and also including the conduct of programs/projects monitoring, evaluation and validation required by the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental which would undergo various levels of approval. Relatedly, the office also facilitated steering/ focal/ secretariat functions for the following:
- Provincial Development Council
- Provincial Land Use Committee
- Philippines Provincial Road Development Program
- Conditional Matching Grant to the Provinces (KALSADA Program)
- Provincial Monitoring and Evaluation Committee
- Seal of Good Local Governance and Good Financial Housekeeping validation
- Strategic Performance Management System
- Bottom-Up Budgeting Program funded under the Local Government Support Fund 2016
