The road to forever begins today for the 114 couples of the municipality of Lagonglong who finally tied the knots during the first-ever town-sponsored “Kasalan ng Bayan” inside the Lagonglong Gym, Thursday, July 12, 2018. Governor Bambi Emano, MOISC General Manager and concurrent MISORCARES overseer Prexy Elipe, Mayor Jap Puertas of Lagonglong, Vice-Mayor Leo Orog of Lagonglong, ABC President Edwin Ramonal, PNP Provincial Director Rolando Destura, Vice-Mayor Alexis Quiña of Balingasag, Brgy. Capt. Alvin Bagongon of Brgy. Taboc, Municipality of Lagonglong, Brgy. Capt. Edgardo Cainglit of Brgy. Umagos, Municipality of Lagonglong, and Brgy. Capt. Jaime Cuanan of Brgy. Kauswagan, Municipality of Lagonglong witnessed the occasion. Senator Cynthia Villar was supposed to witness as well the mass exchange of vows if not due to weather disturbance. The mass wedding was one of the highlights of the 4th Misamis Oriental Care System (MISORCARES) Anniversary celebration. Department Heads of the Provincial Capitol were the main sponsors of the newlyweds.
