Ceremonial Turnover of the PRDP I-REAP

With our strong commitment for Agriculture and Livelihood for the province, we joined the Ceremonial Turnover of the Philippine Rural Development Project – Investment in Rural Enterprises and Agriculture and Fisheries Productivity (PRDP I-REAP) Subproject on Dairy Processing and Marketing Enterprise as the Department of Agriculture (DA), Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental (PGMO) and Local Government Unit (LGU) – El Salvador City turned over Milk Processing Equipment worth P22,138, 058.72 to the Northern Mindanao Federation of Dairy Cooperative (NMFDC) to upgrade its facility by allowing Extended Shelf Life (ESL) of its products to an additional 10 to 30 days.
This innovation will increase livelihood of Dairy Farmers and also increase the marketability of Dairy Products of the province that will be made available not just nationally but will penetrate the global market.
