CAPITOL BOYS upset top-seeded CDO GREEN

A big upset win gives the Provincial Capitol spikers another lease of life for a playoff spot in the Paglaum Cup volleyball tourney.
Last Friday’s matches in Looc, Salay for District 1 division finally saw the unbeaten teams stumbled one after the other.
After the CDO Green skyscrapers handed the youthful Gingoog of its first loss (2-0) early in the morning of February 17, they are heavily favored to eliminate the struggling Capitol boys in their next outing.
However, the prayers of Sir Inting and the arrival of newcomer Charly Mark Jaramillo to its roster did wonder to the Capitol’s slambang cause, beating the undefeated CDO Green in three sets, 25-14, 13-25, 15-9 to improve to 6-2 win-loss slate.
