For the Abaca sector, there was a demand for weave training, weave machines, and stripping machines to streamline production processes. Additionally, farmers emphasized the need for fertilizers tailored for banana trees to maximize yields. Concerns were raised about low yields in coconut, banana, and rice fields, leading to discussions on effective improvement strategies. Pest and disease management emerged as another critical area requiring attention.
To address these needs comprehensively, proactive steps were taken. We instructed the barangay captain to nominate five members for the BPAT to facilitate the proposed training sessions effectively. Furthermore, we made plans to conduct land and soil sampling analyses to gain insights into the specific requirements of the farming community.
