League of Provinces of the Philippines

We had the privilege of participating in the 6th General Assembly of the League of Provinces of the Philippines, where we discussed crucial initiatives in partnership with the Department of Health (DOH). One of the key highlights of our discussion was the potential establishment of Primary Care Provider Networks (PCPN) in select LGUs under the Universal Health Care Program. This initiative aims to ensure accessible and quality healthcare services specially for outpatient benefits such as consultations, access to medicines and medical screenings. Through this program, we envision a healthcare system that is proactive, preventive, and patient-centered, with a focus on promoting overall wellness and addressing the healthcare needs of our communities at the grassroots level.
The meeting also provided updates and insights from PhilHealth, Department of Finance and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), further enriching our understanding of the broader spectrum of development initiatives across our provinces.
We are immensely proud to be part of this collaborative effort towards building a healthier and more prosperous Misamis Oriental. Together, we can achieve great strides in ensuring the well-being and progress of our beloved province.
