As the Chairperson of the Regional Development Council-X (RDC-X) Infrastructure and Utilities Committee Chairperson, we conducted the Mindanao Railway Project (MRP) Phase III Consultation Meeting together with the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) to discuss alignment options together with the different challenges that Local Government Units (LGUs) encounter and provide solutions that would be best for the project without compromising the technical requirements of the railway system.

The meeting is participated by Local and National Agencies particularly Department of Transportation Asec. Leonel Velez, Local Chief Executives together with their Planning Officers, Private Sectors including Ayala Land Estates, PHIVIDEC, and Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LPP who are major stakeholders for this national priority project that will provide transportation innovation through infrastructure development that will benefit not just Misamis Oriental, but the entire island of Mindanao.
