We joined the Misamis Oriental Coffee Council Meeting representing various Farmer-Organizations together with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to discuss relevant topics and address challenges that are encountered by coffee farmers in the province. In collaboration with DTI in the past, we are able to support our cacao and coffee farmers, a total of 𝟏𝟓𝟐 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟓 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in the province received processing equipment which includes Cacao Grinding Machine, Coffee de pulper and Grinder amounting to more than 𝗣𝗵𝗽𝟮.𝟴 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻. We distributed 𝟒𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 in partnership with DTI to increase the productivity of our farmers to bring us one step closer to eradicating poverty. Together with the Provincial Agriculture Office, we are committed to provide the necessary support through expansions, farm inputs, benchmarking, and training to elevate our coffee industry in Misamis Oriental to new heights.
